“I would like to thank Dr. Viola and his staff for helping me to have a ‘NORMAL LIFE ‘ again. I endured 2 botched surgeries along with blood clot complications in Austin, Texas. I spent 2 years in severe pain and was not getting any better. A 3rd surgery was performed in Texas to correct the bad placement of a partial implant. I faithfully attended physical therapy and once again and I was not progressing. I was then referred to a 4th physician in Texas who examined me and told me that I would never be able to climb stairs again, stand for any length of time or be able to do certain leg exercises and to accept things the way they are.

After hearing this disheartening news, I then decided to go to The Steadman Clinic in Colorado with hopes that they could help me. I scheduled an appointment with Dr Viola at The Stedman Clinic in Vail. He explained that this surgery would be a nerve graft to replace and repair the damage that was caused to the nerve during the prior surgeries. Dr. Viola and his staff took the time to answer all my questions and address the concerns that I had. He provided me with some great success stories which gave me hope that this procedure might work for me. I decided to go forward with the 4th surgery.

It has been 8 months since my operation and I have great news to report. Physical therapy is winding down, I am able to walk for 45 minutes without pain, I can climb a flight of stairs without pain, I can mow the grass, I can do traveling lunges and most importantly…. I can do things with my kids again. I never thought I would be able to have a “normal” life again.

I am so thankful to Dr.Viola and his staff for giving me my life back.”
